To
the dedicated people at Seacrest Village,
Your
endless dedication and sincere kindness towards my father
never went unnoticed.
The
superb professionalism of all involved made Ben's time
with you a pleasure.
Your
understanding of his unique "family situation"
only added to my peace of mind in sending him home; his
safety and happiness is always my main concern.
To
all of you at Seacrest I extend my deepest respect and
gratitude.
Respectfully,

To
All of the truly wonderful people of the Adult Day Care at
Seacrest,
I
wanted to express my sincerest appreciation for the great
care and affection you showed towards my mother. You made
her days special and she truly enjoyed being with all of
you, including the other members of "The Club".
She looked forward to going there each morning even
wanting to go there on the weekends. I knew that you each
loved her too, in your own special ways, and I hope that
you will always remember her fondly and call to mind the
good times that you shared with her, and the smiles she
brought to your faces.
From the time I dropped her off in the morning to the time
when the shuttle would pull into the drive in the
afternoon, she was in her special place enjoying all of
you and the attention you bestowed on her.
I
miss her so much already, and in many ways I'm sure you
miss her too. I had some pictures made to enclose with my
thank you cards and I have enclosed some here for whomever
would like one.
Thank
you for all that you did for Susie.

To
all the girls in Pav. East,
There
are no words that can express the gratitude for all the
patience, help and love you showed my father Edgar, in the
three months he was at Seacrest Village.
They
were the best three months he has had in the past two
years since his wife died.
He
loves all you girls and you return your love back with the
kindness towards him. There was a special place in his
heart for all of you.
May
God Bless you with all of our love,

Dear
Mr. Holloway,
I
wanted to write you a letter to thank you. My father, Paul
H., has been in your facility for many months now. He was
at first in the pavilion. At this time, we decided to
spend Thanksgiving Day with him. Not knowing your policy,
we were going to bring our own dinner and have it in his
room. He then was moved into the assisted living portion
with a much smaller room and we didn't know quite how we
would do this with our 10 people. We were so pleasantly
surprised when we arrived that day to find a table set up
in a separate room. Not only with all the festive
trimmings but place settings and all. I can't tell you how
pleased we were. The food was terrific and we even had it
served ... far from our expectations.
Please pass on our gratitude to your staff and especially
Mickey who served us. She was pleasant and caring. Truly
everyone was, they got my Dad all ready for the dinner. He
was very happy we could all be there.
We
thank you for making this difficult time for us a more
tolerable experience. You have done well with the staff
you have chosen.
Thank
you again, Thomas H and Family |

Dear
Brian,
We
would like to take the time to write this letter to you to
tell you how much it meant and still means to us, as the
daughters of Mary and Bill K., that they were able to
spend their last months at Seacrest Village. Having two
parents pass away so close together was a difficult thing
to deal with, but when my mother took ill, we were so glad
that she was able to come to your facility to hopefully
recuperate. We had had such a positive experience with our
father, that it was a comfort to know our mom would be
able to experience it in her time of need as well.
Back
in the summer when our father was on the third floor, his
nurse, Mary Lou, was so positive and upbeat, that it kept
our spirits up, in spite of the fact that his illness was
so sad to watch day after day. Fortunately, Cassandra C.,
woke him up to" Good Morning Bill" with her
beautiful smile, and it made each day a little more
pleasant for him I'm sure. She was his cup of sunshine
every day even when he couldn't drink anymore. We will be
forever grateful for your wonderful staff.
As
for our dear mother, well what can we say? She fortunately
was well aware of everything, and knew one thing for sure
.... that she loved her aides. She said she didn't want to
go home to the empty home that she once loved so dearly.
It wouldn't have been the same without her husband. She
loved it at Seacrest because of the close relationships
she'd made with all of her "girls", as she
called them. Tara, Erin, Faith, Katie, Nurse Jean, and
Nurse Melissa ... just to mention a few, meant the world
to her because she needed so much assistance, and she was
so very grateful for all of them. This made us, as her
daughters, feel so good that our mother was in such good
hands. My talks with Kerry B., Laurie M., and Dr. R. were
always helpful and heartwarming, too. Whenever we visited
we could see the kindness and caring that our mother
received throughout the day and night, which made us feel
good to know that she ,too, was in good hands .... just
exactly the same as my dad had been only one month
earlier.
Our
father passed away on September 6, in a beautiful clean,
quiet room, which he liked so much. Our mother came to
Seacrest on October 9 and then passed away on November 28
in a lovely setting as well. I just want to let you know
that your facility is beautiful, and the kindness,
compassion, and caring that your wonderful staff provided,
meant so much to all of us as well. We feel proud to say
that our parents had the opportunity to die with dignity
in a beautiful place with kind and caring souls by their
sides to the very end. If you could please share this with
the workers who touched our parents' lives in their last
days, we would appreciate it so much.
Thank
you again for everything and to all of your staff who made
a very difficult time in our lives so much easier to
handle. We cannot express how deeply we feel about this.
God bless you and your amazing staff.
Sincerely,
Cathy and Cindy |

March
14th, 2006 To Jeanie,
|
Our
family would like to take this time to thank each and
every worker, who took care of our father while he was in
the pavilion. Each one of them where so kind, skillful,
and compassionate in caring for our Dad. He was very
special to us and we knew he was getting the very best
care available.
The
administrators, nurses, nurses aids, even the cleaning
people were so caring for not only Dad, but the other
residence. We only wish we could name each one of them, so
they could get the proper recognition.
Also,
the physical therapy group is exceptional. They were able
to motivate the people they are working with. Each
therapist so special to us.
Thank
you so much, for all the wonderful care and kindnesses
shown to our Dad. The Goodwin Family |

Perhaps
you sent a lovely card Or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps
you sent a floral piece, If so, we saw it there. Perhaps
you spoke the kindest words As any friends could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us this
day.
Whatever
you did, whatever your part, We prayerfully thank you for
consoling our hearts.
